Multi-factor authentication approach using QR CODE on IoT dedicated to Children’s Toys
The proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has led to an increased need for robust security measures, especially in contexts involving children's toys. This research proposes a multi-factor authentication approach that utilizes Quick Response (QR) codes to enhance the security of IoT devices dedicated to children's toys. The aim is to protect young users from potential risks associated with unauthorized access and ensure their safety while engaging with IoT-enabled toys. The proposed approach combines multiple authentication factors, including QR codes, to provide a layered security mechanism. The usability studies demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed multi-factor authentication approach.
