Influence of social media and Artificial Intelligence on Cyberbullying for Decision-Making with Legal or Judicial Foundations in Ecuador
The Cyberbullying problems are persistent today in the world and in Ecuador, given the evolution of the Internet, new trends in information and communication technologies (ICT), artificial intelligence (AI) and social networks. One of the causes is the influence of social networks, artificial intelligence and the lack of legal and judicial frameworks based on law. The objective is to create a prototype to mitigate cyberbullying on social networks. For the analysis of the information, the deductive method and exploratory research were used to analyze the information on the different official websites. The result was a mental map that identifies key actors, a simulation to mitigate cyberbullying on social networks and a prototype for the management of cyberbullying. It was concluded that to mitigate cyberbullying it is necessary and essential to use appropriate artificial intelligence tools and create or improve cyberbullying laws in each country. In the simulations carried out, we were able to demonstrate that in scenario two, cyberbullying can reach an average of 25% of cyberbullying, which is a challenge, through the use of artificial intelligence tools and the creation or updating of cyberbullying laws in each country. According to estimates by the United Nations (UN), between 2023 and 2024, cyberbullying via telephone through WhatsApp had an average of 58%, the United Nations considers cyberbullying among the 20 most serious problems in the world[1].
