OPTIMIZED ROUTING STRATEGIES FOR ENHANCED VIDEO STREAMING IN MANET: PRIORITIZING EFFICIENCY, TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT, AND SECURITY AWARENESS
MANETs have garnered significant interest and popularity in recent years due to their immense military and commercial potential. The absence of a fixed infrastructure, self-organizing capabilities, and mobility features are the primary reasons behind the widespread adoption of MANETs. In this paper, we tackle the challenge of delivering video streams with minimal delay in MANETs. The primary hurdles in streaming video over MANETs are latency and control overhead. These issues can be mitigated by utilizing the Improved AODV Traffic-Aware Routing Algorithm for Efficient Data Transmission, abbreviated as ETA-AODV.The proposed routing protocol ETA-AODV has yielded impressive results: packet delivery has improved by 93.74%, end-to-end delay has been reduced by 65.21%, and latency has seen a notable enhancement of 31.41%.
