Abstract

One of the main issues in Iraq cities is that we are running in the critical and disturbing world, at each intersection, all people suffer from long-time waiting, unexpected accidents and environmental pollution at a time when developed cities seek to reduce it. This paper proposed a design and an implementation of smart traffic control network for one of the densest intersections Kerbala city. smart control algorithm based on sensors added to the existing signaling network, depending on the field of cloud and IOT technologies. The paper offered a variety of challenges, results demonstrated that the green signal takes three seconds to go from one signal light system to another. also, it was discovered that all of the recommended scenarios were implemented throughout the system's components characterized by efficient, easier in an implementation, satisfying results with low cost and without the challenges associated with the approaches given in earlier study.
