A study on the analysis of law violation data for the creation of Autonomous Vehicle traffic flow evaluation indicators
The study analyzes the reason for the steady increase in the number of traffic accidents in Yo ngin-si, Gyeonggi-do, despite the improvement of Korea's traffic accident system and the decrea se in the number of traffic accidents. Seven years of traffic accident data are collected to analyz e major legal violations and accident risks, and to derive accident-prone areas and road risk indi ces through QGIS mapping. Based on this, it analyzes the cause of accidents in multiple acciden t areas, presents improvement measures such as the installation of a median strip, installation of an unmanned traffic control device near a crosswalk, and emphasizes the importance of driver a wareness and safety education. The study aims to present measures to improve the traffic situati on in Yongin by analyzing road risk factors and suggesting improvement measures to prevent traf fic accidents.
