Abstract

After every finance Budget the financial critics, economists and tax consultants everyone dissect each and every proposal stated in budget highlighting the pros and cons of this crucial financial statement as India stands at a deciding point of all times in its ongoing efforts to present itself as a global player.Though India has the “demographic dividend” as aptly pointed out by our Honourable Prime Minister on numerous occasions, yet due to a sluggish global economy, unfamiliarity of domestic markets with poorly designed GST scheme and high inflation rates ,unemployment is a major concern given 31 million youth are still seeking jobs.As perfectly stated out by our Honourable Prime Minister, Entrepreneurship is the answer to alleviate this problem of unemployment, even though partially. To encourage the spirit of Entrepreneurship, the Government has streamlined a lot of existing policies, eliminated irrelevant policies and devised major schemes including “Kaushal Vikas Yojana” leading to creation of innumerable start-ups in various domains catering to various needs and wants of modern lifestyle.
